Analogic discloses plans to lay off 50 workers, saving $6M next year

Peabody-based medical device and security technology company Analogic Corp. disclosed in a regulatory filing today that on July 31 - the last day of its fourth quarter - it committed to plans to lay off about 50 employees in what it calls a "realignment" to "better leverage certain core competencies."
