NSR Analysts are responsible for the endtoend production of market research studies on specific subjects within the satellite communications market and for the undertaking of contracted consulting projects for clients. NSR expects Analysts to be well grounded in the dynamics of the current satellite communications market and to show a high level of motivation in remaining at the forefront of current events and trends. Basic knowledge of market modeling is another critical ability required of an Analyst, along with a systematic and detailoriented approach to work that enables the analyst to remain within the timetable set for any given project. Finally, an NSR Analyst must have the required mix of independence that allows them to tackle a large range of projects, while at the same time be a consummate team player who is proactive in working with colleagues. The Analyst position will provide coverage for many areas in the satellite communications market covered by NSR. NSR is very flexible in terms of working hours and location. Skill Requirements Strong analytical and problem solving skills Able to understand business issues of a technologyheavy industry Able to work independently The applicant must have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple researchconsulting engagements and clients The applicant must have the ability to substantiate and defend a point of view with research data Maintain and develop relationships with key industry people English is the working language for NSR. Exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a necessity The applicant must be fully skilled in use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Plus Skills Previous Market Research or ManagementStrategy Consulting experience a major plus Previous experience in the satellite industry a plus Submission Requirements Those wishing to submit an application for the Analyst position are asked to provide a cover letter and resumeCV.
