(Telecompaper) Apple has launched its Apple Pay mobile payment system in China, in partnership with Chinese bankcard association UnionPay. Chinese shoppers can now use the Apple Pay contactless payment system to make purchases, Xinhua news agency reports. Users of the iPhone 6 or more advanced versions, certain iPads and Apple Watches will be able to use their NFC-enabled devices to purchase items in stores across China.
