Ashford Hospitality Prime shareholder calls for company sale, criticizes termination fee

In a Jan. 7 letter to two Ashford Prime directors, copied to the company's chairman and CEO and its COO, investor John Petry of called for the company to renegotiate the size of a termination fee that the company could owe to its external adviser, Petry indicated that he met with Ashford Prime directors Curtis McWilliams and W. Michael Murphy at his firm's New York office on Jan. 5, in a meeting that the Ashford Prime directors initiated to discuss concerns he raised in previous correspondence.
