Australian Shares Start Week On Bright Note

Australian shares started the first full trading week of 2013 with gains on Monday, with the S&P/ASX 200 index up 0.5% at 4,748.80. The advance in Sydney followed a positive session for U.S. stocks on Friday, after data showed the U.S. economy continued to add jobs at a moderate pace in December.
