Australian govt sets new cloud computing policy

(Telecompaper) Australia's federal government plans to significantly increase the proportion of cloud-based services in the AUD 6 billion it spends annually on information technology services. Government departments and agencies will now be required to adopt cloud services where it is fit for purpose, provides adequate protection of government data and delivers value for money.
