Along with group of renewable chemical companies and state advocacy organizations, BIO wrote to chairpersons and ranking members of House and Senate Committees on Agriculture to urge passage of 5-year Farm Bill that includes Senate's language on Energy Title. Title IX of Senate-passed Farm Bill (S.954) provides mandatory funding to USDA energy programs and grants renewable chemicals companies access to Biorefinery Assistance Program and Biomass Research and Development Program.
