(Telecompaper) BT has confirmed plans to launch the BT Home Hub 5 later in 2013. The BT Home Hub 5 will come with ac Wi-Fi, four GigE ports and an integrated VDSL modem. It will be included in all BT Infinity packages as standard. Existing Infinity customers will be able to recontract to get a Home Hub 5 free or will be able to buy one for a small fee. Hub 4 will continue to be offered as an inclusive part of the package with all copper broadband packages. BT also confirmed plans to launch a 300 Mbps FTTP service.
