During blackouts, Battery Back-up enables Overhead Door Destiny® and Odyssey® garage door openers to operate garage door at 3.5 ips. In case of extended loss of electricity, unit will run up to 50 cycles in 24 hr period after initial power outage. Power is supplied by Interstate 8 A, sealed, lead-acid battery, which is charged via connector cable running between opener and unit.
