During Paris Packaging Week, Ball Corporation was successful in the sustainability category of the annual World Aluminium Aerosol Can Awards 2025, organized by AEROBAL, the International Organisation of Aluminium Aerosol Container Manufacturers. A jury, drawn from the ranks of trade journalists from leading can and packaging magazines around the globe, commended a collaboration between Ball, Alcoa Corporation (NYSE: AA; ASX: AAI) and Unilever that piloted the first use of the ELYSIS carbon-free smelting technology in personal and home care packaging.

PaintCare Illinois Hits Early Program Milestones in First Two Months

Today, elected officials and paint industry leaders gathered at the Illinois State Capitol for a press conference highlighting the early progress of the new statewide architectural paint recycling program. Operated by PaintCare, a nonprofit organization created by the American Coatings Association (ACA), the program helps households and businesses recycle leftover paint, stain, and varnish in a convenient and responsible way. Just two months after its December 1, 2025 launch, the program is already seeing strong participation across the state with a growing network of more than 340 drop-off site community partners.

Investment in New U.S. Biogas Systems Exceeds $2 Billion in 2025, Continuing Strong Industry Growth

New data released today by the American Biogas Council (ABC) shows that 2025 was another strong year for the U.S. biogas industry. In the 12 months ending December 2025, 70 new biogas projects came online, representing more than $2 billion in new, domestic, recycling infrastructure and pushing the total number of U.S. systems capturing biogas from organic waste to nearly 2,600 facilities nationwide.
