Baton Rouge man sentenced to 104 years in prison for Jefferson Parish robberies

A Baton Rouge man convicted of robbing four Jefferson Parish businesses was sentenced Friday to 104 years in prison. Ervin Carter , 40, showed no reaction, but members of his family in the courtroom cried when he was given what effectively is a life sentence.
