Taking a cue from naturally occurring enzymes, a team of researchers at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, has come up with what they call a new approach for catalytic reduction of unsaturated substrates.The catalyst consists of an organic-transition-metal center tethered to an organohydride donor (OHD).
