Today: Apple stock dropped about 3 percent after one of its key iPhone chip suppliers Dialog Semiconductor reported lower-than-expected preliminary earnings. A day before Apple is scheduled to released its quarterly earnings, the Cupertino tech firm's shares dropped after one of its key iPhone chip suppliers posted a weaker outlook.
