Today: Salesforce roars to record high after report that company has hired advisers after a mysterious takeover bid, and one analyst says Oracle should lead the short list of potential acquirers. Salesforce stock rocketed to its highest prices in history Wednesday after a reported takeover bid for the cloud-software pioneer, which would be far too expensive for all but a handful of large tech companies.
