STERLING – A Winnebago County bomb squad was called in to investigate a package on a rail car just west of town Saturday morning. About 5:50 a.m., Sterling Police responded to a report of a suspicious-looking package in a rail car that was on the tracks south of the 2800 block of West Fourth Street.
