Brazil adds 2.86 million satellite TV subscribers in 2012

According to Brazils Agncia Nacional de Telecomunicaçes (Anatel), the countrys pay TV subscriber base ended 2012 at 16.2 million, with more than 3.4 million new subscribers being added during the year an annual growth rate of 27.0%.
