Designed to meet power supply requirements of car audio and infotainment systems, Model A8580 features input voltage of 4–40 V, switching frequency of 250 kHz to 2.4 MHz, and output current up to 2.5 A. AEC Q100-qualified device can employ pulse frequency modulation for very low input current while supplying keep-alive voltage. Housed in 16-pin TSSOP package with exposed pad for thermal dissipation, regulator is guaranteed to draw less than 50 µA from 12 VIN while supplying 3.3 V/40 µA.
