Buffalo business leaders form venture capital group

A group of prominent local businessmen have formed a venture capital group, Buffalo Capital Partners, to back scalable startup companies in Western New York. The entity was quietly created in December 2014 and did its first deal in March, a $1.55 million Series A investment into biotech startup MimiVax.
