Calls for US to roll out consumer awareness campaign on fakes

The American Apparel & Footwear Asociation is calling for the introduction of a consumer awareness campaign to combat the growing issue of fakes entering the country, as US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) found 39% of counterfeit goods seized in 2019 were in footwear, apparel and handbags.
