Following closely on the heels of the big car shows in Detroit and Chicago, auto dealers were hoping Monday to draw consumers out of hibernation to bargain hunt on Presidents Day. Whether it is because the new models begin arriving at dealerships at the end of the month, folks are getting tax refunds or an excuse to get people to shop in the dead of winter, the celebration of our nation's leaders has become a big day for car dealers.
