Car sales drive busy period

Southland vehicle sales surged last year with new car registrations up nearly a quarter on the previous year - but some in the industry are warning the golden run could be coming to an end. Motor Industry Association figures show 127,348 new vehicles were registered in 2014, compared to 113,295 in 2013.
