CHARLTON – Calling it a “better Band-Aid than bottled water,” the Charlton Board of Health board is pushing Casella Waste Systems to install water treatment systems for H Foote Road residents with tainted wells. “I'm saying that bottle water and filtration systems are not acceptable and public water is the solution,” Chairman Matthew Gagner said to the 20 residents at the board's meeting Tuesday.
