This year we are excited to have Miles Reiter, Chief Executive Officer, Driscoll’s Inc. and Dennis Dimick, Executive Editor, National Geographic Magazine participate in our plenary discussion The Future of Food. The challenges of sustaining agricultural productivity in the face of population growth, growing food demand, climate change, water scarcity and declining soil health can seem daunting. Across the world, the pressures on farmers and agricultural supply chains are unprecedented. But there are solutions. As CEO of Driscoll’s Inc., Miles Reiter has worked collaboratively with other farmers and the community to establish water conservation and improve water quality in drought stricken California. Dennis Dimick has decades of experience in environmental photojournalism and is an Executive Editor at National Geographic. He recently led the National Geographic series, Future of Food, examining the growing demand to feed 9 billion people by 2050 and the urgency of today's global food issues. Join us at the Ceres Conference 2015 for this and many other exciting plenary discussions! read more
