Charter hooks up with "over the top" service

On Monday, Charter Communications announced it would make its Spectrum TV app available on Roku devices that stream TV content over the Internet. Stamford-based Charter Communications is making its Charter Spectrum TV app available as a channel on Roku, an "over-the-top" streaming device that bypasses cable networks to serve up shows directly to TV sets.
