(Telecompaper) After six consecutive quarters of growth, Chinese smartphone shipments decreased by 3 percent year-on-year to 113 million in the second quarter of 2017. Huawei shipped over 23 million units to lead the market for the second quarter in a row, according to a report from Canalys. Oppo shipped over 21 million and held the second place, despite growing 37 percent year-on-year. Vivo ranked third in China's smartphone market, shipping around 16 million units.
