Commercial Truck Sales Up but Class 8 Down as Large Fleets Cut Back

Medium duty commercial vehicles have seen sales gains in 2013, but heavy duty Class 8 vehicles have been down, according to Polks most recent data. Fleets operating more than 500 vehicles were down 17.8% in Class 8 purchases during that time period.
