Carrying ratings from 12–1,100 A, FN5060 standard dv/dt filter series are intended for LV motor applications. Design enables dv/dt filter damping performance without using resistors, while minimized power loss and voltage drop help maximize system efficiency. Required to fulfill IEC60034-17/-25 standards defining limits for IEC-and NEMA AC motors, dv/dt filters protect motor windings against voltage peaks and inadmissible voltage pulse rise times generated by inverter PWM output voltage.
