Consumers Energy Plans To Step Up Recycling, Waste Reduction

The CMS Energy Corp. unit says it's doubling the amount of waste it pulls out of the landfill stream through increased recycling and other measures. The Jackson-based utility provides electrical and natural gas service to 6.6 million of Michigan's 9.9 million residents.
