DMV camera, scanner systems back up after electrical problem

DMV Spokesman David Fierro said the East Sahara location in Las Vegas was evacuated about 4:30 p.m. Thursday after a blow out with a NV Energy transformer. The incident caused a statewide outage for the cameras and scanners systems used for identification cards and driver's licenses.
