(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom has outlined plans to build high-performance infrastructure across Germany, with top mobile communications speeds of 150 Mbps. It is also boosting its fixed-line infrastructure with fibre-optic network expansion and vectoring technology, aiming to connect over 24 million households to the fibre network by 2016. Vectoring technology will support speeds of up to 100 Mbps on a large scale. The group is investing over EUR 23 billion in Germany between 2010 and 2015.
