Preloaded with open, flexible, and scalable OS that lets user add or remove application/service from configuration mechanism, iDS-718iM-D allows Ethernet and Internet connectivity to any RS-232 and RS-422/485 device and eliminates cable length limitation of legacy serial communication. Intelligent solution employs 32-bit, 720 MHz ARM-based CPU with UDP support, 256 MB Flash, 256 MB DDR3 memory, 64-bit hardware serial number, and RTC. Ethernet, micro SD, and serial interfaces are included.
