Diageo considers offers for Gleneagles Hotel

Diageo has admitted it has received "numerous" enquiries about the sale of its Gleneagles Hotel as reports suggested the famous resort is to be put on the market. The Scotsman newspaper claimed today that the five-star resort in Perthshire, Scotland, will be put up for sale by the drinks firm.
