By integrating 4–20 mA position transmitter that can also be configured as discrete switch, Fisher® FIELDVUE™ DVC6200 eliminates need for accessory position transmitter. Solid state circuit, rated up to 1 A, opens and closes according to user-configurable trip point, which can be based on valve travel anywhere within calibrated travel range or on device alert. DVC6200 communicates with HART 7 standard and may also be field configured to HART 5 standard to match any control system requirement.
