Domestic car sales up 15.16% in Aug; SIAM sees slow turnaround

Total sale of vehicles across categories registered a growth of 17.54 per cent to 16,60,437 units in August. Car sales in India grew for the fourth successive month, posting an increase of 15.16 per cent in August, prompting industry body SIAM to believe about a slow turnaround after two years of slump.
