Dutch chip maker ASML's 3rd-quarter net profit edges lower, full-year sales outlook rises

ASML Holding NV, the largest equipment supplier to semiconductor makers such as Intel Corp. and Samsung Inc., says its net profit fell to 221 million in the second quarter, from 292 in the same period last year.
