(Telecompaper) EE said that over 500,000 customers have signed up for 4G mobile services in the seven months since launch. The UK operator has announced new plans for consumers and businesses, and confirmed the next phase of its 4G network roll-out. The new plans launching over the summer include Shared 4GEE Plans, to allow customers to share mobile data plans across phones and tablets, or with other people; and Pay-As-You-Go Mobile Broadband, allowing customers to pay for internet access on their tablets and laptops without a long-term commitment. Pricing and availability for the PAYG mobile broadband will be announced in the coming weeks.
