U.S. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and Maryland Senator Ben Cardin joined NRCS, Chesapeake Bay Program, and NFWF to announce recipients of $9.2 million in grants intended for restoration and outreach initiatives in Chesapeake Bay Watershed's 6 states and District of Columbia. This year's 40 projects will use innovative and known ways to create cleaner waters, restore habitat, and strengthen iconic species as well as engage homeowners and residents in environmental work.
