Eagle Ford rig count stays below 100 two weeks in a row

New drilling activity will stay at six-year lows in the Eagle Ford shale, where the number of oil rigs remains below 100 for two weeks in a row. Figures from the Baker Hughes rig count released on Aug. 7 showed that new drilling in the Eagle Ford remains flat at 98 active rigs.
