Environment News Service: What started in 1970 as a teach-in about the environment has expanded year by year until Earth Day actions this year include more than one billion people in some 192 countries. Many people are taking photos of their climate change experiences and sending them to the Earth Day Network to become part of an interactive digital display being shown at thousands of events around the world.
