522 ABPZ20 KNHC 252330 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Sun Aug 25 2024 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Gilma, located about midway between the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula and the Hawaiian Islands and on newly formed Tropical Storm Hector, located well west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days. && Public Advisories on Tropical Storm Hector are issued under WMO header WTPZ33 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP3.
