For immediate commencement of employment for our site in Antwerp, we are looking for a ElectronicalMechanical Flight Integrator Job description As an ElectronicMechanical Flight Integrator you will be responsible for the integration of flight equipment and subsystems, carrying out the following tasks Establish and qualify processes for electronic assembly and mechanical integration Provide inputs to AIT flows and electronicmechanical integration procedures, review and improve work instructions Perform incoming inspection and fit checks of mechanical parts Prepare electronic components for further processing and soldering Assemble printed circuit boards with highly sensitive components by hand under the microscope with the highest precision and dexterity Cabling, wiring and painting of populated boards and preparation for their usage in space Integration of printed circuit boards in a mechanical enclosure Preparation of equipment for thermal and vibration testing Measuring of volume, mass and CoG properties of assembled equipment Provide feedback to the electrical and mechanical design engineers to improve their design Close collaboration with product assurance to achieve the required quality Support during environmental test campaign travelling required Explain the workmanship in reviews as well as during the communication with the customer Keeping logsheet records, compilation of nonconformance and problem reports Impact assessment on problems and nonconformances with proactive seeking of support of other experts when necessary Job Experience Completed training as an electronics technician for equipment and systems of a similar nature Professional experience in this field especially in the assembly of printed circuit boards Having one of the following certificates is an advantage Hand soldering certification ECSSQST7008 and ECSSQST7038 Crimping and wiring certification ECSSQST7026 and ECSSQST7030 Inspections of PCBs certification ECSSQST7008, ECSSQST7038, ECSSQST1009 Job competences Strong team player A quality driven personality and attitude Capable of working with the highest precision and dexterity Responsible and proactive Effective working practices make you stand out Eager to learn A good understanding of spoken and written English is mandatory Willingness to travel
