Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation released August 2014 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry. Overall, confidence is 58.9, easing from previous 2 months’ indexes of 61.4. When asked to assess their business conditions over next 4 months, 18.2% of executives said they believe business conditions will improve, down from 28.6% in July, while 78.8% of respondents believe business conditions will remain the same, and 3% believe business conditions will worsen.
