Ethiopia: Wonji Shoa Sugar Factory to Start Trial Production

The expansion of the Wonji Shoa Sugar Factory undertaken by the Ethiopian government at a cost of three billion Br in Oromia Regional State will begin trial production next month. The factory, which has the capacity to crush 6,250tn of sugarcane and produce 7,000ql of sugar daily, rests on 20,000ha of land.
