Available in single and redundant power configurations, RackStation RS815+ consists of 4-bay, 1U server that can be expanded to 8 bays when paired with RX415 expansion unit. DiskStation DS2415+, as 12-bay desktop model, is expandable up to 24 drives when paired with DX1215 expansion unit and supports up to 138 TB usable storage in Synology Hybrid RAID. Both models include quad-core CPUs optimized for embedded applications and offer respective read and write speeds in excess of 380 and 360 MBps.
