Supplied in single width size, FPGA Mezzanine Carriers come in versions that include Virtex®-5, Virtex®-6, Artix®-7, Kintex®-7, Virtex®-7 FPGAs and Zynq® All Programmable SoCs. Modules allow any VITA-57 compliant FMC mezzanines to be plugged in, providing variety of I/O options. Carriers include DDR3 memory, allowing large buffer sizes and queuing during processing. To eliminate potential single-point-of-failure in system, Virtex and Kintex versions have optional local processors.
