At Petrobras research and development facility (Cenpes), Fieldbus Foundation conducted its first live demonstration of FOUNDATION™ for Remote Operations Management (ROM) technology. Demonstration was attended by Petrobras executives and automation industry media. Open solution, which extends capabilities of FOUNDATION fieldbus to wired and wireless devices installed in harsh and remote locations, provides unified digital infrastructure for asset management in diverse applications.
