Members of HART® Communication Foundation and Fieldbus Foundation™ approved merger proposed by their respective boards via voting process that concluded on August 30. New corporation, FieldComm Group, will be led by board of directors composed of representatives of collective companies from current boards of each foundation. Hans-Georg Kumpfmueller has been elected as inaugural chairman of the board. Also, board appointed Ted Masters as president and CEO. This story is related to the following:Trade Associations
