Isolating fingerprint image enrollment, pattern storage, and biometric matching within fingerprint sensor, Match-in-Sensor™ provides protection against on-device threats. Fully hardware encapsulated solution includes System on Chip architecture in which single device performs both input/output functions with in-sensor microprocessor executing firmware. By performing security-sensitive functions completely inside SoC, Match-in-Sensor adds level of security due to total isolation from host OS.
