Fire keeps a trendy Galleria area store closed: Blaze still unsolved after ceiling pulled down

It has been more than a week since the Kate Spade flagship store in Highland Village caught fire and the store remains closed for repairs. Houston Fire Department officials have yet to determine the cause of the one-alarm blaze that broke out around 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 15. "The safety of our employees and customers is our primary concern and we are working diligently to re-open by the end of January," Kate Spade New York representatives tell CultureMap.
