Fitch Rates Verizon Communications' Proposed Offering 'A-'; Outlook Stable

Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'A-' rating to Verizon Communications Inc.'s issuance of benchmark-sized senior unsecured notes. VZ plans to use the proceeds primarily for the redemption of existing notes with maturities ranging from 2015 to 2018.
